Case study: Carbonmasters biomethane project


KrypC is currently working on a bio-methane project, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions by generating methane through the anaerobic digestion of municipal wet waste. 


The goal of the project is to assist the project developer in streamlining their route to market using digital ledger technology. This includes using KrypC to register the project, have it validated, collect data on methane production and distribution process and other relevant data through systems, have the monitoring data verified, have resulting carbon credits issued by the registry and generate carbon tokens linked to the project data for the period. 

This first of its kind within the country decentralized project will ultimately improve the execution speed and engage multiple other Hedera ecosystem services to develop carbon forwards, spot exchanges and appropriate open-sourced policies.
