This groundbreaking hackathon provided climate enthusiasts and innovators a unique opportunity to harness the power of Hedera Guardian technology and shape the future of climate change mitigation.

Agrify addresses the challenge of validating carbon capture in agriculture. The team’s vision focuses on regenerative agriculture, providing farmers with access to essential climate finance through carbon credit purchases, thereby enhancing their resilience to climate impacts, which lead to losses exceeding $100 billion annually.

Objectives of the Hackathon

The primary aim of this hackathon was to leverage Hedera Guardian in advancing climate accountability by developing cutting-edge digital methodologies. 

Participants were challenged to create solutions that improve the measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) of climate data, ensuring transparency and integrity in sustainable finance, climate project methodologies, and ESG reporting.

How It Was Delivered
